Seattle and King County Homelessness Response System Recommendations

In August of 2018, the City of Seattle and King County partnered with the National Innovation Service (formerly Future Laboratories) to launch a community-driven process of listening and, ultimately, designing a stronger regional response.

At the time, I worked as the Special Assistant to Marc Dones, lead on the project and executive director of the National Innovation Service. In my role I did a variety of supportive and collaboratory tasks including research and analysis, coordination with clients and partners, activity design collaboration and materials design, in-person support and data capture during participatory research, audio and video editing, and internal report scaffolding.

This website captures the results of this collaborative journey and lays out 10 Actions necessary to move forward. In 2019, dozens of partners across the region came together to build a regional Homelessness Response System that can achieve greater levels of equity and impact.
